My Favourite Youtubers

In August 2011 I watched my first ever youtube video. Since then, every day youtube has been a big part of my life (cringe worthy but true.) Now, it's a completely different story. Youtube has become a massive thing, and although I am happy for everyones success, I can't help but wish that their channels weren't as big and it was back to being just a hobby for them. With fame come hate, and with hate come change. Now, I can't have youtube as my own little thing because youtubers are everywhere and I don't feel as connected to them as I used to. This is one of them main reasons why I love watching youtubers who don't have millions of subscribers because it feels like it did when I first started watching youtube, my own little thing. Here are a few of my favourite 'less known' youtube channels....

Hannah Maggs (A Little Beauty Vlog)

Hannah, along with her Husband Stef and little baby Grayson upload weekly vlogs of their cute family adventures. Stef, an editing god, makes each vlog to the upmost quality, including at least 2 silky montages of beautiful footage and adorable clips of baby G. Hannah is gorgeous and a great mum to Grayson, the cutest little bubba on youtube. At the moment I am writing this, they have
168, 051 subscribers and that number should be 10x bigger because their videos are the best, and the highlight of my week.

Kate Murnane (Dolly Bow Bow)

Channel - https://www.youtube.com/user/Dollybowbow

I've only been watching Kate for around 6 months but straight away she had me hooked because of her lovely personality and her videos were right up my street. The first video of hers that I watched was a baby haul and now its strange to think that little baby Archie is here as the time has flown by. Kate uploads beauty, fashion and lifestyle videos that I love to watch but alongside those, she also uploads cute little family vlogs. Baby Archie is the spitting image of Rikki; and his adorable-ness (is that a word?) makes my heart melt. Kate has 240, 209 subscribers and again, deserves a whole lot more! Kate also has her own business, Dolly Bow Bow, which you can read about in my last blogpost!

Jennifer Veal

Channel - https://www.youtube.com/user/jenniferveal28

I would have to say that Jenny is my favourite youtuber of all time because she is hilarious, gorgeous,  comes from England (where I live) and follows me on twitter! (Internal squealing) I started watching her when she had a youtube channel with Lucas but now they have gone their separate ways, I watch her channel like its my religion, I think its safe to say I am OBSESSED. The Lucas and Jenny channel nearly hit 1million before they spilt but Jenny's channel only has 178, 821 subscribers so please go and subscribe, you won't regret it! Jenny uploads on tuesdays where she does funny, chatty videos then on thursday she uploads a beauty video. Im proud to say I am a Jenny bean and I may or may not have a fan account for her on instagram....

Dolly Box // Review

'She turned her cant's into cans and her dreams into plans...'

For Christmas this year, I was lucky enough to receive the beautiful winter edition Dolly Box from Dolly Bow Bow. I have always loved Kate's shop and I have always wanted everything so when she released the Dolly Box I immedietly ran to mum and begged her to buy it for me for christmas. As it is a secret as to what you are going to get, she was a bit wary at first but after showing her how nice everything on the website was, she gave in and ordered it. Since other people received their box before christmas, I was very tempted to look at the hashtag on Instagram and Twitter but I am glad I waited because when I unwrapped it Christmas day, I was thrilled to bits with everything as each piece is gorgeous.

The actual box is carefully wrapped and hand decorated with the bow ontop. When you open it, there is a message from Kate explaining the content and the meaning behind it. I think this a lovely idea as it adds something more personal to the box and even though everyone got one, I felt as though it was personal to me.

Once you lift up the pink tissue paper, there are 4 pink pouches each containing a different piece of jewellery.

Earrings

Sorry its slightly out of focus - That's what you get with an iPad camera!

The small bow earrings are one of my favourite pieces in the box because they are very wearable as they are only small and go with anything. They are silver and, being a bow, relate to Kate herself as she love bows and her shop is named Dolly Bow Bow. Normally with earrings, I struggle to wear them for long periods of time because unless I buy a very expensive pair, they irritate my ears, however I have worn these earrings for a consecutive week (taking them out for baths) and sometimes I forget I am wearing them as they are so comfortable.

Bracelet

This dainty bracelet is rose gold and I LOVE it since I am a sucker for anything rose gold. Again I have worn this loads over christmas and plan to wear it more when I am not at school. I think its size is perfect because it means you can wear it easily and not feel like you have a bulky weight tied around your wrist and the small chain makes it a perfect addition to any outfit.

Ring

Like the bracelet, the ring is rose gold and has a similar design with the circle. As we stated in my 2015 post, I have very chubby fingers and don't like wearing rings as it draws attention to them but there are so many lovely rings that I want so midi rings are the way forward. It is not stated anywhere that this is a midi ring but it fits me to be a midi ring and I like it that way. I love how this goes perfectly with the bracelet as they are so similar and I will be defiantly wearing it a lot!

Necklace

This is the final piece of dainty jewellery that you receive in the dolly box. It is a short necklace made of gold, silver and rose gold mini triangles that form one big triangle. This would be a perfect everyday necklace as it is simple and elegant. The only problem I had with this necklace is that when it came it was badly knotted and took a lot of work to untie it (Thanks Mama!) but that is no-ones fault as it happens very easily.

Statement necklace

Last but not least; The statement necklace (aka. THE NICEST NECKLACE IN THE WORLD)
I love love love this necklace and have worn it every occasion that I could without looking too over dressed. This gorgeous necklace it white and silver making it wearable with any colour which is an added bonus. I have had so many compliments about this necklace and a few people have asked where it is from. Unfortunately this necklace is not available to buy on its own as it comes limited to the Dolly box.

The Dolly Box is £26.99 which I think is AMAZING value as the contents are worth £50. I would highly recommend it however it is now sold out on the website. I will defiantly be purchasing more Dolly Boxes when they come out as I adore them.

2015

New year,  New me

2014 was a great year for me and I am sad to see it end, however, I hope that 2015 will be just as amazing, if not better! Following the new year, I promised myself I would try to stick to the New Years resolutions that I have made; Here are a some I wish to accomplish before 2015 ends...

My Body

Ever since I was born I have never been 'skinny.' I was a very chubby baby and by chubby, I don't mean cute pinch-able cheek chubby, I mean Michelin Man chubby (I had the rolls and everything)
Look at those little sausage fingers!

So this year I want to get in better shape, whether that means walking home from school more (it takes about an hour and it's all uphill - the main reason I hate doing it!) or eating healthy and cutting out snacks. Each year I challenge myself this and each year I fail but I want this year to be different. My Aunts wedding is in September and my whole family (there's 14 of us) are going on holiday to Turkey so I would very much like to be fitter for that!

I also want to drink more water. At the moment I maybe drink 500ml a day which is nowhere near enough. I take a 500ml bottle of water to school with me each day so I want to drink 2 of them at school then a further 2 at home.

As I am still a teenager, my skin is very temperamental and very spotty. So in the new year, I want to start looking after it better and along with drinking more water, I want to find a good skincare routine and stick to it.

Beauty

Nails - My nails are in desperate need of repair due to repeatedly wearing fake nails and not looking after them as I should. Even though I am not allowed nail varnish at school, when I do wear it, I let it chip then wear it out for as long as I can before it practically dissolves off my nails. So this year I want to make more effort with them.

My collection of makeup brushes sit in the corner of my dressing table in shame, each covered in a thick layer of makeup and dirt - this is probably one of the other reasons my skin is so bad. So in 2015, I want to clean them at least 2 times a month instead of once every so often.

Other

Keeping this one short and sweet - I want to be happier at school and work harder. Theres no there way to put it, school makes me moody and I don't put enough effort in.

Finally - last but not least - this blog. This is my first blog post and I hope to continue making them as it makes me feel like I am accomplishing something. I want Little Miss Chitchat to be something I look back on with a sense of pride that I created it.

I would love to know what your new year resolutions are in the comments below!
